A fantastic opportunity is available for a board-certified Veterinary Cardiologist or a residency-trained clinician nearing completion of their programme who is looking to join a progressive and collaborative specialty hospital. Based in Round Rock, Texas, this role offers the chance to build strong client relationships while providing advanced cardiac care within a multidisciplinary referral environment. Practice / Hospital / Referral Centre Information This specialist referral hospital is an AAHA-accredited, Fear Free certified facility dedicated to providing comprehensive emergency and specialty veterinary care. Operating from a modern purpose-built hospital, the practice delivers advanced medical services supported by state-of-the-art equipment and a strong commitment to clinical excellence. Departments The hospital offers a broad range of specialty services including Cardiology, Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Surgery, and Dentistry, all working together to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Staffing Levels The team consists of experienced specialists, emergency clinicians, skilled veterinary technicians, sonography support professionals, and dedicated client care staff who collaborate closely to deliver exceptional outcomes for patients and their families. Qualifications Required Candidates must hold a DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent), be eligible for veterinary licensure in the relevant state, and hold or be eligible for a DEA license. Applicants must be board certified or have completed, or be in the process of completing, a residency in veterinary cardiology accredited by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) or the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM).
