$105,000–$135,000 Base + Profit Sharing
Target Earnings: $125,000–$160,000+
Overview
This is not a traditional “behind-the-desk” General Manager role. We are seeking a licensed HVAC leader who enjoys staying connected to the field while building and leading a high-performing team.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a growing HVAC division with real influence over its direction. Early on, the role will blend field leadership with operational management. As the division scales, the position will naturally evolve into a more strategic, operations-focused leadership role.
This position is ideal for someone who leads by example, develops people, and understands how to grow a business without compromising quality or culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the HVAC division from both an operational and technical standpoint
- Support technicians in the field with diagnostics, training, and mentorship
- Oversee scheduling, workflow, quality control, and customer experience
- Build and implement scalable systems, processes, and SOPs
- Ensure compliance with licensing, permitting, and safety requirements
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing technicians
- Partner with ownership on growth strategy and long-term planning
- Maintain high standards for workmanship, ethics, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts HVAC license required
- 15+ years of HVAC industry experience
- Strong background in residential or commercial HVAC
- Proven leadership experience managing teams or departments
- Advanced diagnostic and technical expertise
- Ability to build structure while maintaining a strong team culture
- Comfortable balancing field involvement with operational leadership
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar platforms is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- $105,000–$135,000 base salary (DOE)
- Profit-sharing tied directly to division performance
- Target earnings of $125,000–$160,000+
