Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Term: Full Time - Permanent

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL – On-site 5 days a week

We need either an Accountant, Sr Accountant or Accounting Manager. they need to either have a CPA or be on track for a CPA OR have a Masters degree in Accounting or Finance.

Must have the following:

CPA or CPA track, 5+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, month-end close ownership, financial statement preparation, ERP experience (NetSuite preferred), team leadership (managing 2 accountants)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations while remaining fully hands-on in core accounting functions
• Supervise and mentor a team of 2 accountants, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and professional growth
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through timely recording, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance
• Prepare and review journal entries with proper documentation and adherence to internal policies
• Own and oversee the monthly close process, including multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements with a strong focus on accuracy and deadlines
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and present insights and recommendations to Finance Leadership
• Support annual audit processes, including preparation and review of audit schedules
• Drive improvements in accounting processes, controls, and system efficiencies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline financial workflows and reporting
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and internal controls
• Handle ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business (required)
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public or private)
• Prior experience managing or mentoring staff preferred (2 direct reports)
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Proven experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
• Experience with ERP systems required; NetSuite strongly preferred
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and within a team
