Lincoln Creek Lumber is a family-owned company that has served the communities of Lewis & Thurston Counties for over 100 years. Qualifications include outstanding customer service, willingness to listen to others, product knowledge or eagerness to learn on the job, ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, basic math and computer skills, team player, clear communication with customers, peers, and management, strong organization skills and attention to detail, punctual attendance of shifts, availability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written strongly desired, and pride in a job well done.

Sales Associate responsibilities include following all written company policies, wearing a radio so that the team can effectively communicate, never avoiding customers, greeting each customer with a smile by asking them, "What can I help you find today?", working to understand your customer's projects and showing true knowledge of our products to help them find the best solutions, engaging with customers by leading them to the products they are interested in rather than pointing in a general direction, being empathetic and respectful when hearing a customer complaint, offering to load heavy items into customer vehicles, completing and turning in paperwork for online orders and orders made in-store, cross-training as a cashier so that you can provide backup during busy periods, maintaining your assigned aisles by sweeping floors, dusting shelves, facing products, and stocking shelves, putting away new products and organizing back stock when freight arrives, knowing each month's ads and directing customers to specials, always being aware and notifying management if there are any security issues, attending monthly store meetings, understanding and observing all safety procedures, and making recommendations to improve safety practices. Other assigned tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, flexibility to reach and bend while performing job duties, and capability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.

Benefits include paid sick time. Hourly wage range is $15.74 - $16.35.
