Position Summary

Emilys Hope is seeking a strategic, creative, and mission-driven Multimedia Producer & Social Media Manager to lead our storytelling, content strategy, and brand presence across all platforms. In this role, you will serve as the voice of Emilys Hope producing compelling content, managing our digital channels, editing our award-winning podcast, and driving awareness of our programs and initiatives. Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content/social media strategy aligned with Emilys Hopes mission, campaigns, and initiatives.
• Manage all Emilys Hope social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube), ensuring regular, engaging posts that support our mission and amplify every program and initiative.
• Create and manage original content across platforms, including newsletters, social media posts, email campaigns and press releases.
• Track and analyze social media performance and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.

Graphic Design

• Maintain brand consistency across all content formats and channels.
• Design flyers, brochures, merchandise, social media posts and more to support all of Emilys Hope initiatives and programs using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Lead the design and production of the annual report, including layout, graphic design, and content.
• Manage vendor relationships for promotional items, printing, etc.

Podcast Production and Promotion

• Edit and produce all episodes of the weekly Grieving Out Loud podcast, including audio and video editing, mixing, and publishing.
• Write compelling episode descriptions and coordinate episode releases across podcast platforms.
• Develop promotional content for new episodes, including social media graphics, audiograms, and email campaigns.

Multimedia & Digital Content Production

• Shoot video in a mobile-first, broadcast quality style to produce quality video content across platforms.
• Edit short-form videos in a timely manner using tools such as Descript and Adobe Premiere.
• Shoot photos at events to promote Emilys Hope.

Marketing and Communications Management

• Plan and execute targeted campaigns to increase donor engagement and retention, including Giving Tuesday, recurring giving, special appeals, and memorial giving.
• Act as the primary media contact and liaison for Emilys Hope with local and national news outlets.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Emilys Hopes K12 substance use prevention curriculum to educators, school districts, and partners.
• Update and maintain the Emilys Hope website with timely, accurate, and engaging content.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design, video editing, digital marketing, and social media management.
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design, with demonstrated experience in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in podcast editing and audio production.
• Strong understanding of SEO and digital content trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
• Requires some nights and weekends to manage social media during and immediately following events.
