Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide inpatient rehabilitation services to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients. The clinician will deliver comprehensive therapy focused on promoting recovery and restoring functional independence in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Administer therapy interventions for conditions such as total joint replacements, spinal surgeries, strokes, trauma, and other orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient progress and therapy activities accurately using electronic medical record systems.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge exercises and home care strategies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with all clinical and facility standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NM physical therapy license or be eligible to pend at time of submission.
• Possess at least 1-2 years of acute inpatient care experience.
• Certified in BLS and familiar with hospital documentation systems such as Cerner.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing diverse patient cases including post-op orthopedics, neurological disorders, and complex medical conditions.
• Comfortable working rotating weekends and adhering to a flexible schedule.
• Have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
