Certified Nursing Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant delivering direct patient care in a long-term care setting in Owatonna, Minnesota. Supports residents with daily activities, vital sign monitoring, and documentation, while maintaining infection control and safety. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team over an 8-week contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, assistance with activities of daily living, and hygiene support.
• Document patient observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Enforce infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ensure comfort and safety during shifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Minnesota.
• CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to wear scrubs and solid shoes; no sandals or Crocs.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
