About Flyover Attractions: Flyover is an award-winning immersive flying theatre experience that transports guests through the planet’s most epic places. The attraction utilizes flight motion seats engineered to swoop, dip and turn, giving guests a feeling of flight, while a 65-foot spherical screen provides guests with a flight across iconic locations and natural landscapes. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, help create an unforgettable entertainment experience. Flyover attractions are located in Chicago; Las Vegas; Reykjavik, Iceland; and Vancouver, Canada. About The Role As a Guest Experience Guide, your goal is to facilitate the fun, engaging, efficient and safe movement of guests through the attraction. As a guide you may wear multiple hats as a Greeter, Flight Guide, Entry Scanner, and Photographer. You will have engaging interactions with our guests by bringing your best and anticipating guests’ needs while following Flyover standards and operating procedures. The Guest Experience Guides should always strive to maintain a positive attitude and a safe environment for all guests and team members. What You\'ll Do Greeting guests and answering questions in a welcoming and positive manner Ensuring accurate information is provided to guests, managing expectations Taking and editing photos of guests, while being knowledgeable about the photo packages and backgrounds Handling cash transactions, ticket sales and other retail duties as required Organizing large groups of people into correct queues, while calculating and communicating accurate wait time information Directing guests around the different areas of the attraction and assisting them onto the ride Ensuring all ride safety precautions are met, and informing the Operator and Supervisors of any concerns Ensure Flyover operating procedures and service standards are consistently maintained Communicate efficiently using proper radio protocol Assisting with evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency and following the emergency preparedness plan Possessing knowledge about Las Vegas and other attractions Other duties and projects as assigned Desired Skills Ability to have fun in a creative and exciting environment Excellent communication skills Flexibility to complete various tasks in different roles Ability to problem solve High attention to detail Outstanding guest service skills Independently motivated with a consistent high level of energy Qualifications Availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays Be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment Ability to lift loads of up to 30 pounds as necessary Flexibility to complete various tasks in different roles Extensive knowledge about Las Vegas and local area Experience in the tourism/hospitality industry is an asset Cash handling and public speaking experience preferred At Flyover, we value a strong team built on respect and professionalism.
