Job Description Company Description: We are a private mental health & wellness practice specializing in trauma, relationships, and sexuality. We are open to all forms of gender and consensual sexual expression and our focus is on education, self-discovery, and growth. See more at Role Description Full-time, flexible, hybrid role for a licensed therapist or counselor interested in a creative, compassionate, and empathic approach to couples & trauma work. Independent Contractor position, with the option to become a full-time employee with benefits. We prefer a practitioner who can build a caseload from our leads, and eventually average 20 clients/week. Qualifications Licensed in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, and/or PsyD) Experience in individual and couples counseling Ability to adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality Willingness to work with diverse clientele (including LGBTQ+, various ethnic/racial/religious backgrounds, and ENM practitioners) Strong communication & interpersonal skills Independent organization & time management skills Knowledge & Education Relationship and intimacy therapy Desire discrepancy, attachment theory, communication styles Trauma and PTSD Depression & anxiety Diagnosis and evidence-based treatment approaches Responsibilities Conduct assessments and develop trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment plans. Provide counseling, therapy, and supportive services to individuals & couples. Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records. Join biweekly group consultations and regular collaboration with the lead therapist. Participate in continuing education (including conferences, seminars, reading, etc) and stay up to date with the latest evidence-based research. Adhere to ethical standards and conduct according to NASW code of ethics, and comply with relevant laws & regulations in Virginia. Optional Help with social-media advertising (@RISEtoIntimacy). Create educational content & videos. Develop creative programs/intensives/groups/workshops at RISE. Compensation Your pay will range between $90-$100 per session (based on a 60/40 split), depending on whether it's an individual or couples session. RISE is a private-pay practice and does not accept insurance. Create your own schedule; flexible work-from-home or in-clinic options.
