Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provides professional nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting, utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment throughout all phases of the nursing process. Oversees the patient care team and collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Implement nursing interventions based on evidence-based practices.
  
  
• 
  Supervise and coordinate activities of Certified Nursing Assistants, LPNs, and technicians.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care, reactions, and treatment responses promptly and accurately.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active Michigan RN license.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience.
  
  
• 
  Cerner electronic medical records experience.
  
  
• 
  Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA.
  
  
• 
  Proven charge nurse experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Reliable personal vehicle and current address included in profile.
