WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Responsibilities Shipping and Receiving: unload and load trailers, verify proper stacking, avoid mixing pallets; use tape or stretch‑wrap as required for product stability. Checking: count all products before storage, compare counts with driver manifests, inspect shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates; report shortages, damages, and misplacements to supervisor. Over, Short, and Damage: identify and recover any damage consistent with Company policy; report shortages and overages to the area supervisor. Inventory: assist with physical inventories using scanners and ensure proper stock rotation by following lot number identification. Order Picking: pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact quantity and type, correct lot numbers, and efficient customer service standards; pallets may reach up to 7 feet high. Loading: move product from staging or storage into railcars or trailers efficiently. Equipment: operate forklifts, clamp trucks, slip‑sheet or other power equipment; maintain equipment and facilities clean and orderly; conduct daily inspections and report any problems. Other Abilities You Will Need to Have Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally with assistance. Stand and walk for extended periods. Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. Speak and hear clearly for safety and productivity. Use scanners, tablets, radios, phones, and other warehouse machinery. Lift overhead when required. Work overtime as needed to meet demand. Drive a registered motor vehicle as required. Have acceptable or correctable vision. Work in temperatures ranging from +50 to -30°F with moderate noise levels. Communicate frequently with colleagues and customers. Possess good arithmetic and reading skills. Understand and follow verbal and written instructions and Company policies. Be a self‑starter who can work independently and coordinate with others. Manage stress and productivity guidelines in a fast‑paced environment. The Standard Details Maintain a professional demeanor in appearance and communications at all times. Participate in staff and/or customer meetings as required. Take initiative to prevent non‑conformities related to product, process, and quality systems. Identify and record any issues relating to product, processes, or quality. Propose and implement solutions through appropriate channels. Ensure solutions are effectively implemented. Follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building. Participate in safety and educational training programs. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous high‑reach forklift and/or warehouse training.
