Job Title: Process Mining Consultant - Celonis implementation - BI, Reporting and Data Visualization Level 1
Job Location: Hybrid model - required in NYC, Redwood city, CA and Raleigh, NC.

• OCPM is highly desired, but good knowledge will be accepted

Inviting applications for the role of Process Mining Consultant (Contractor) – Process Mining
The ideal candidate will be engaged as a Level 1 contractor to lead Process Intelligence (Celonis) implementation projects with process data of varying degrees of complexity and for customers across industries, running multiple teams while remaining hands-on with the technology. You are responsible for making digital business processes transparent and harmonizing our customers’ data flow by using Process Intelligence Technology and applying data extraction and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Process Intelligence (Celonis) implementation teams across concurrent client engagements.
• Remain hands-on and technically credible – develop, review, and deploy Process Intelligence solutions using Celonis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Govern the setup of data extraction pipelines with both out-of-the-box connectors and custom connectors.
• Strong working knowledge of Celonis ETL capabilities – Extraction, SQL Transformations, Data Pools and Data Jobs.
• Experience working with Vertica SQL to create custom activities in Celonis.
• Drive optimization of data pipeline performance.
• Analyze process data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Mentor and guide team members across workstreams; review deliverables and enforce build standards.
• Provide delivery updates, risks, and dependencies to programme leadership.
• Technical Qualifications / Skills
• Strong working knowledge of Knowledge Models, Views, Analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of Celonis front end functions – PQL, PU functions.
• Develop the integration of Process Intelligence tools with existing systems.
• Serve as a liaison for the business analyst, project manager and client.
• Lead discussions on operationalizing Celonis through the use of Action Flows, Action Views and Machine Learning capabilities.
• Well-versed with the latest AI capabilities for Process Intelligence in Celonis.
• Keen learner who stays up-to-date with the latest Celonis capabilities.

• Thoroughly understand business requirements to identify technical requirements.
• Take initiative (Resourcefulness) and ask clarifying questions to ensure the build is robust and designed on best practices.
• Focus on performance (Ensures Accountability, Delivers consistent results) across multiple teams.
• Ensure sufficient unit testing before releasing the build for functional testing.
• Ability to operate independently in a contracting model with minimal onboarding ramp-up.

Minimum qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 12+ years of Data Engineer/analytics experience, including experience working with SQL and relational databases, and query authoring (SQL).
• Demonstrated experience running multiple teams alongside hands-on technical delivery.
• Previous work experience in ERP (SAP ECC / S4 HANA / Oracle Cloud / Oracle EBS R12) with strong process understanding knowledge.

Preferred qualifications

• BE/BTech (or MS/MTech) degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics or related field.
• Strong communications skills to enable interaction with all levels and departments within the organization.
• Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization.
• Celonis certification (Data Engineer / Analyst / Implementation Professional).
