As we get ready for this exciting new chapter, we are looking for an exceptional Licensed Massage Therapist who can bring the same level of quality, care, and attention to detail that we have put into creating the space itself. Sunlighten Day Spa is searching for a Licensed Massage Therapist to bring their expertise to our thriving weekend clientele. You’ll work closely with our Spa Manager, providing exceptional service that embodies whole-body healing and relaxation. We’re looking for someone available every weekend or every other weekend. Sunlighten infrared sauna memberships, deep tissue massage, organic facials, and body contouring are just a few of the offerings on our menu. The experience our guests receive when they visit our spa is unmatched and we are looking for reliable and hard-working individual to be an integral part of providing that experience. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide exceptional, professional quality massage therapy services Adhere to all policies and practices/present a high level of cleanliness/sanitation of massage rooms and equipment, maintain a professional appearance, and visual presentation throughout the customer experience Discuss and make note of each client’s painful or stressed areas and any health conditions prior to providing services to ensure safety and satisfaction Actively listen to clients’ during the massage and adjust pressure/technique to meet their needs and accommodate requests, within reason Perform and maintain updated knowledge of all applicable services, products, and treatments offered on the menu with a healing and relaxing touch according to state/local protocol and Sunlighten Day Spa values Ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable by providing a high-level of customer service with enthusiasm through all methods of communication and ensure clients leave feeling important, satisfied, and special Coordinate with other spa team members on scheduling and expectations and adhere to appointments to provide exceptional guest experience Performs other duties as assigned Licensed in Kansas and Overland Park- as required by law Proficient knowledge of relaxation, prenatal, hot stone, and deep tissue massages Ability to provide 30-90 minute massages to clients by appointment Capable of exerting physical pressure during massage sessions to address clients’ needs Must be able to lift and carry massage equipment and supplies Positivity and “can do” attitude, excellent communication skills, and customer service experience Confidence in service skills and quick decision-making skills Ability to stand for extended time periods Compensation: Commission based starting at 30-40% depending on experience + tips Hours: This is a part-time role with Sunlighten Day Spa We need assistance on Saturday from 9AM-5PM and Sunday from 11AM-4PM #J-18808-Ljbffr
