Registered Nurse

You will work with a care team of physicians, advanced practitioners and staff providing compassionate and quality care.

Position Summary: The RN is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties which include: assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, venipuncture and procedure as directed by the physician, documentation in the electronic medical record, preparing treatment rooms for examination of patients, assisting in covering the front desk as required, executing prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administering prescribed medications, monitoring and documenting treatment progress and patient response, delegating as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act, referring to/consulting with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent/resolve problems or concerns, and educating patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Qualifications Required: RN - completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing, minimum of two (2) years college or associate's degree, BSN preferred, current state registered nurse license, current BLS/CPR certification required, minimum of one to three (1-3) years working as a registered nurse required, three to five (3-5) years of related experience (preferred), general office procedures, proficiency in basic computer programs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Office, excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
