What You’ll Do

• Setup & Operation: Efficiently set up, program basic features using CAM software, and operate at least two CNC machines (Mills/Lathes) with high standards of safety and accuracy.
• Machining Expertise: Leverage your understanding of speeds, feeds, tooling, and G-Code to maintain optimal production efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, bore gages, pins) to meet exact customer specifications.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform basic machine maintenance, minor repairs, and adjustments to keep production running smoothly.
• Team Collaboration: Cross-train on various machines and departments, maintain clear logs, and partner with co-workers and shop leadership.
• Material Handling: Safely operate equipment, including forklifts and stand-up lifts, to move work materials.

What You Bring

• Experience: 2–4+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (Lathes and Mills).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with G-Code programming; experience with Fanuc controls is a major plus.
• Tooling Knowledge: Mastery of standard measuring tools and standard attachments.
• Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Technical Trade School diploma or Journeyman experience preferred.
• Mindset: High attention to detail, a drive for quality improvement, and a strong work ethic.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, walk, and handle heavy materials using lifts.
• Clear vision (corrected to 20/20) with color identification ability.
• Comfortable working in a bustling indoor manufacturing environment with noise and temperature variance (safety PPE provided and strictly followed).
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
