Off Premise Chain Manager, Dallas

We are currently hiring a full-time, Off Premise Chain Manager for North Texas. The ideal candidate must live in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. The Off Premise Chain Manager responsible for increasing availability and visibility of Boston Beer portfolio of brands within their assigned regional territory to generate depletion growth while adding value to our wholesaler and retailer partners. Primary focus is dedicated to all Off Premise, Regional and National large format and liquor accounts, while aligning with the Region Manager to execute the programs in their respective territory. In addition, assist in developing the entire Off Premise COT.*Please note that while this position is listed as “working remotely”, our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise. What You'll Brew:Be proficient in BBC's systems and selling process with retailers, wholesalers, and team of indirect reportsBe proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product styleHunt for new business opportunities while growing current business in National/Region/Local account groups while managing budgets to proper ROIUtilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver creative & impactful presentations with proficiency using PowerPointMaintain and strengthen buyer & wholesaler relationships through strategic selling and superior customer serviceDevelop & drive Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for defined account baseEffectively mobilize wholesaler network and BBC sales teams to fulfill all BBC mandates, sell vs. authorizations/approved packages, compliance issues, focus timeframes and other key selling opportunities What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Requirements:4+ years Consumer Package Sales to include proven success with managing and developing a team and individuals 1+ year experience calling on Off-Premise buyersExperience calling on National and Regional accounts (Tom Thumb, Costco, Kroger, Total Wine, HEB, and regional retailers within Texas).Ability to interpret data to create selling storiesProficient with Excel, PowerPoint, data analytic tools like Circana/NIQ, PowerBiMust be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beerValid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuouslyLocal travel to attend Retail and Distributor sales calls and meetings (~70%)Preferred RequirementsBachelor’s degreeAdult alcohol-beverage industry experience Wholesaler management and/or national account management experienceLevel: 6ICAt the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $90,000 and $140,000. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location*.
