What You'll Do
Our CVTs are actively involved in patient care and medical procedures, including but not limited to:
Veterinary medical knowledge including diseases, vaccines, and preventative care
Client service and client education
Venipuncture & catheter placement
Restraint of cats and dogs
Intubation
Anesthesia induction & monitoring
Dental prophylaxis
Dental & whole-body radiology
Cytology
Patient care and treatment
Cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized clinical environment
Heavy lifting as required
What We're Looking For
Required:
Current Illinois Certified Veterinary Technician license in good standing
Excellent client service and communication skills
Strong veterinary medical knowledge and technical abilities
A team-oriented attitude
Compassion for both pets and their people
Preferred:
At least 1 year of veterinary experience
Schedule
Full-Time: 4 days per week
Part-Time: Part-time opportunities also considered
