Registered Nurse - Ortho/Neurology Floor (Full-Time)

MLR is collaborating with a respected healthcare system to recruit a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Ortho/Neuro floor. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team that prioritizes exceptional patient care and upholds high standards of service excellence. Relocation Assistance: $7,500 is available for eligible candidates.

Job Responsibilities

• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 72 hours biweekly, with both day and night shifts available.
• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations, including gathering patient history, physical exams, and analyzing diagnostic data.
• Care Plans: Develop and implement customized nursing care plans to address the holistic and age-specific needs of each patient.
• Nursing Care: Provide care in alignment with the patient's Plan of Care, professional nursing standards, and physician directives.
• Safety Measures: Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
• Care Protocols: Apply standard protocols for managing central lines, Foley catheters, pressure ulcers, ventilators (if applicable), restraints, and patients at risk of falls.

Registered Nurse - Ortho/Neurology Floor (Full-Time) Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure: Active RN licensure in South Carolina.
• Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred (or to be obtained within six months of hire); ACLS/PALS certifications are also preferred.
