Job Description
The Water Wells Service Technician plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing water well systems. Working primarily in small teams of 1-3 technicians, this position involves daily travel to various field sites within the local area. The technician will operate both standard hand and power tools alongside specialized drilling equipment to troubleshoot and ensure the efficiency and reliability of water wells. Able and willing to work in different outdoor climates including winter and hot summer days.
Responsibilities
- Install pumps and related water well equipment
- Perform routine well maintenance and system inspections
- Repair equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical system issues
- Interact professionally with customers to address concerns and explain services
- Conduct manual labor required for installation and maintenance tasks
- Operate specialized drilling and heavy equipment safely
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in water well servicing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficiency in pump installation and water well maintenance
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience operating heavy equipment and electrical systems
- Strong customer service skills
