About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a premier, locally owned heating, cooling, and mechanical service provider that has served Western Colorado for over 30 years. Known for technical integrity, elite craftsmanship, and customer trust, our client is expanding their sales team to handle surging customer demand.

This is not a door-to-door canvassing role—you will not be walking neighborhood blocks or knocking on cold residential doors. Instead, you will focus on consultative selling: meeting with warm, inbound homeowners seeking replacement systems and mini-split heat pumps, while proactively partnering with regional property management companies and commercial facility accounts.

If you have a baseline in trade or mechanical sales (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or building maintenance) and want a position that combines guaranteed base pay with uncapped commission, this is an exceptional opportunity.

What You Will Do

• In-Home Consultative Sales: Run scheduled on-site discovery appointments with warm inbound callers. Evaluate existing heating/cooling setups, assess home comfort needs, and present clear, professional equipment options.
• Property Management Business Development: Proactively prospect, network, and establish ongoing service/replacement agreements with local property management groups, HOA boards, and commercial facility operators.
• Transparent Quote Delivery: Present equipment replacements, mini-split systems, and boiler options cleanly and transparently, walking clients through efficiency ratings, rebates, and financing options.
• Recurring Service Agreements: Promote annual maintenance agreements to secure long-term client retention and reliable off-season service revenue.
• Project Coordination: Maintain accurate customer notes in the CRM and partner closely with the operations coordinator and field installation crews for seamless project handoffs.

What We Are Looking For

• 1–3+ Years of Technical or Trade Sales Experience: Proven success in consultative sales within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, building materials, or facility maintenance.
• Consultative Communication: Professional, transparent, and customer-first. You explain technical systems in clear terms without relying on aggressive, high-pressure sales tactics.
• Account Acquisition Skills: Comfortable reaching out to local business owners, facility directors, and property managers to develop ongoing B2B accounts.
• Logistics & Travel: Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a reliable personal vehicle to use for daily customer appointments across the territory.

Compensation & Comprehensive Benefits

• Base Pay: ~$40,000 to $50,000 annualized base
• Incentive Plan: Uncapped commission on closed installations, retrofits, and service contracts (First-year expected total comp: $75,000 – $100,000+)
