As a therapist within our organization, you will report to the Home Health Branch Administration and play a crucial role in assisting patients to regain their strength, mobility, and independence—all from the comfort of their own homes. By providing tailored care that emphasizes rehabilitation and functional enhancement, you will empower individuals to overcome physical challenges, confidently engage in daily activities, and improve their overall quality of life.

• Deliver therapy services as planned, delegated, and supervised by a licensed Occupational Therapist, following the patient's Treatment Plan.
• Support the execution of vocational and educational programs designed by the registered Occupational Therapist to restore, reinforce, and enhance task performance, while also addressing health maintenance and self-sufficiency.
• Adapt and design equipment and living environments to facilitate patient needs.
• Fabricate devices aimed at improving function and independence, enabling participation in programs and community activities.
• Administer therapeutic treatments and provide instruction to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist, in line with physician orders, to enhance strength, coordination, range of motion, and overall function.
• Document observations and information in patient records, prepare clinical notes, and assist in the creation of progress reports.
• Maintain and submit necessary documentation as required by the organization or facility.
• Educate patients and their families on home programs and the use of adaptive equipment.
• Engage in care coordination and discharge planning, serving as a resource for other healthcare professionals to meet patient needs.
• Design community reintegration activities to support clients in their physical recovery and psychological adjustment, coordinating plans with the interdisciplinary team.

• Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and dependable transportation.

• At least six months of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in home health settings.

Pay Range: $41.00 - $57.00 per visit/unit or $64,000 - $87,500 annually .

Tuberculosis Screening: This position involves direct patient interaction and is part of our TB screening program. Candidates selected for this role will be required to undergo TB screening.

Driving Requirements: This position is part of our driver safety program, necessitating a valid state driver's license and personal vehicle liability insurance. Individuals must maintain insurance in accordance with state minimum requirements, or at least $25,000 for bodily injury per person, $25,000 for bodily injury per event, and $10,000 for property damage, or higher if required.
