Position Summary

We areseekinga motivated and detail-oriented TransportationProject Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing transportation projects for local municipalities or FDOT , including planning, design, and permitting. This position offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary projects that improve mobility, safety, and infrastructure in our communities.

Your Responsibilities as a TransportationProject Manager:

• Manage the design and delivery of transportation projects for local and regional government clients, includingroadway,sidewalk,intersection, and multimodal improvements.
• Serve as Project Manager for assigned projects-responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and client coordination.
• Prepare and overseedevelopmentof plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E)in accordance withFDOT and local standards.
• Coordinate with public agencies, utility providers, andpermittingauthorities.
• Conduct and/or oversee traffic analysis, safety studies, and roadway geometry design.
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+Yearsexperience in civil / transportation engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• Demonstrated experience in project management for municipal or county transportation projects.
• Working knowledge of FDOT standards, the Florida Design Manual (FDM), MUTCD, and local agency design criteria.
• Proficiencywith MicroStation /OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead client interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Local Agency Program (LAP) projects or FDOT coordination.
• Familiarity with grant-funded transportation projects (e.g., CDBG, SCOP,SCRAP )
• Experience developing cost estimates and managing subconsultants.
• Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Civilor Transportation Engineering.
