Customer Service Representative

Job Summary We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a fully remote contract opportunity supporting customers in the healthcare services industry. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy helping others, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced call center environment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will assist customers with inquiries, document interactions accurately, and provide professional support while navigating multiple computer systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, communicative, comfortable using technology, and able to work independently from a quiet home workspace. Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and provide accurate, professional support.
• Document customer interactions clearly and completely in internal systems.
• Navigate multiple computer systems to research information and resolve questions.
• Provide courteous, patient, and solution-focused service in a high-volume call center environment.
• Follow established procedures, compliance guidelines, and service standards.
• Maintain reliable attendance and meet expectations for remote work performance.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rate: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.
• Job type: Contract/Temporary.
• Work arrangement: Fully remote.
• Paid training provided.
• Training schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM ET.
• 100% attendance is required during training.
• Operating hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.
• Candidates must be flexible to work scheduled shifts during operating hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as business needs require.
• Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be required during peak periods or open enrollment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of customer service experience required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
• Strong data entry and phone skills.
• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems.
• Ability to work independently from home with reliable attendance.

Work from home requirements

• Must have a private, quiet workspace free from distractions.
• Webcam required throughout training.
• Wired USB headset with microphone required.
• Reliable wired high-speed internet connection required.
• Must use a desktop or laptop computer

Bring Your Own Device Requirements

• Device must have Windows 10+, MacOS 10.14+, or Linux Ubuntu 18.04+.
• Device must have an Intel Core i5 processor or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 GB RAM required.
• Minimum 64 GB storage required.
• Minimum internet speed of 20 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload required.
• Chromebooks, tablets, and iPads are not supported.
• Mobile hotspots and cellular internet providers are not permitted.
• Bluetooth, AirPods, wireless headsets, and 3.5mm headsets are not supported.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 GB RAM preferred.
• 128 GB storage preferred.
• Previous call center experience preferred.
• Healthcare customer service experience preferred.
