Mammography Technologist

As a Mammography Technologist, you perform screening and diagnostic mammograms and bone density exams in a hospital-based breast imaging setting. You position patients, operate digital mammography equipment, follow MQSA and radiation-safety standards, and document exams in RIS/PACS. You help prepare images and records for radiologist interpretation, support interventional breast procedures, educate and support patients before and after exams, and participate in equipment quality control and continuous safety and process improvements.
