Mechanical Engineer

Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute detailed mechanical engineering activities within projects or engineering teams.

Perform engineering work involving conventional practices, including resolving complex design challenges and coordination issues.

Utilize standard application programs and tools for engineering design and execution.

Prepare equipment specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and award recommendations.

Coordinate engineering efforts across disciplines, clients, suppliers, and contractors.

Lead technical tasks and guide engineers or subgroups to ensure successful project execution.

Communicate complex technical issues and recommend effective solutions to management.

Support development of engineering procedures, design guides, and administrative practices.

Mentor designers and drafters, providing on-the-job training and professional development.

Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, innovation, and accountability.

Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues at job sites and provide technical guidance.

Strong expertise in dry systems including air handling systems, air condensing units, variable air volume (VAV) units, and cleanroom air systems.

In-depth knowledge of cleanroom standards (ISO 14644) and IEST recommended practices.

Familiarity with HVAC standards including ASHRAE, SMACNA, and International Mechanical Code (IMC).

Strong understanding of engineering calculations, system design, plant layout, and material selection.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and complex project requirements.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot field and design issues.

Excellent coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

10–13 years of relevant experience, OR 14–17 years of related work experience.

Minimum 10 years of experience in dry systems engineering.
