Join Our Team as an Assembly/Box Truck Driver – $18–$20/hr

Location: Byron Center, MI

Are you an experienced assembler with a knack for safe and reliable driving? We’re hiring a dedicated Assembly/Box Truck Driver to support our production processes and local deliveries in Byron Center, MI. This role offers a great opportunity to blend hands-on assembly work with driving responsibilities, all within a supportive and safety-focused environment.

What You’ll Do:

Perform detailed inspections of parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Assemble products according to work orders and blueprints, carefully packaging items for shipment.
Use hand tools, read drawings, blueprints, and measurements (to 1/16") with precision.
Operate overhead cranes; complete necessary training and certification to handle Hilo equipment safely.
Safely drive company vehicles for local deliveries and transportation of materials within Byron Center, MI, verifying loads and paperwork.
Load and unload inventory using pallet jacks, forklifts, and carts, ensuring proper handling at all times.
Maintain accurate mileage and delivery logs; keep vehicles clean, fueled, and perform basic inspections regularly.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Support additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.
Valid Chauffeur’s Permit; CDL preferred but not required.
Experience with assembly, packaging, and operating forklifts or overhead cranes is a plus.
