Registered Nurse – PACU

Schedule

12 Hour Days, 9 AM to 9 PM, call required.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• 2 years of PACU experience required
• PACU (ICU/ER) experience required
• BLS & ACLS certification required
• Experience with EMR: EPIC
• 5 years of experience if degree accreditation verification is unavailable
• Prior travel experience highly preferred
• Common diagnoses include orthopedic and general surgery

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PACU setting
• Monitor patient recovery and stabilize vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on patient progress
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
