Fabric Cutters & Industrial Sewers – Direct Hire

Location: Secaucus, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on position and experience

ProvenPath People Solutions is hiring multiple Fabric Cutters and Industrial Sewers for permanent, full-time opportunities with an established production company in Secaucus, New Jersey.

If you have experience with industrial sewing, fabric cutting, upholstery, drapery, garment production, canvas, alterations, patterns, or other hands-on production work, we want to hear from you. Training may be available for select candidates with strong transferable skills.

Available Positions

Industrial Sewers – First Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–5:15 PM
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Overtime: Saturday overtime may be available or required

Responsibilities may include:

• Operating industrial and stand-up sewing machines
• Sewing drapery, fabric, canvas, upholstery, or related materials
• Following patterns, measurements, and production instructions
• Inspecting completed work for quality and accuracy
• Working independently while supporting production goals

Fabric Cutters – Second Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:15 PM–12:00 AM
Pay: $17.00 per hour plus a $1.50 second-shift differential
Training: Initial training may occur during first shift at the second-shift pay rate
Overtime: Overtime may be available or required

Responsibilities may include:

• Measuring, marking, laying out, and cutting fabric
• Reading measurements and calculating dimensions
• Following patterns, templates, and production specifications
• Applying grommets and other hardware or finishes
• Inspecting materials and completed work for quality
• Maintaining an organized and safe work area

Qualifications

• Relevant sewing, cutting, upholstery, drapery, canvas, garment, alteration, textile, or production experience preferred
• Ability to follow measurements, patterns, instructions, and quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements
