Clinical Nurse Manager

Job Summary The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is responsible for coordinating clinical activities of a Wound Care Center, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and quality improvement. The role collaborates with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet program objectives and ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Proficient in all responsibilities related to case management. Provide case management to a group of patients, including specific assessments according to protocols and procedures; maintain clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management. Organize and prioritize clinical responsibilities; provide clinical oversight to clinical staff, such as RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, key hospital personnel, Wound Care Center providers, Program Director, and Medical Director regarding clinical and patient needs. Continuously review processes and procedures, identify and implement improvements while complying with HIPAA, DOH, and other regulatory requirements. Engage in staff development, providing general instruction and individual training and orientation. Recognize staff through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback. Collaborate with Program Director to coordinate program objectives, including budgetary and financial aspects. Coordinate vein clinic services, if applicable, and provide care as needed after Healogics Vein Clinic training. Collaborate with Program Director and Medical Director to achieve Wound Care Center quality indicators. Function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with Healogics and hospital policies. Perform hyperbaric safety director duties following required training; act as chamber operator or emergency chamber operator after completing training. Perform patient care based on Center staffing needs. Perform other duties as required. Education & Credentials Current Registered Nurse license required. Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. One year of RN experience required; two or more years preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Wound care certification preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Planning, organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate in layperson terms at all organizational levels. Team‑based communication and multi‑project management. Strong customer service, follow‑up, analytical, and quantitative skills. Leadership, team‑building, motivation, research, teaching, change management, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred. Working knowledge of hospital database and web‑based systems. Physical Demands Extended periods stationary (≥4 hours). Extended computer screen viewing (≥4 hours). Frequent computer keying (≥4 hours). Moving about. Adequate close, distance, and peripheral vision. Reading, communicating, writing. Lift/ move up to 20 pounds. Lift/move up to 75 pounds with equipment assistance. Pushing/pulling. Bending/stooping. Reaching, grasping, touching with hands. Travel distances (car, airplane, etc.). Work Environment Normal office and primarily indoor environment. Patient care environment. Exposure to hazards: blood‑borne pathogens, toxic chemicals, flammable explosive gases, etc. Exposure to mechanical equipment. Proximity to moving objects. Salary The salary for this position generally ranges between $74,700.00–$100,700.00 annually, based on qualifications, experience, geography, and operational needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
