Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Private Duty Nursing

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a patient in their home in the Scranton, PA area. Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the physician's orders and plan of care
• Monitor and assess patient health status
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Measure and document vital signs and patient progress
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
• Educate patients and family members regarding care and health management
• Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are maintained
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team to provide quality care

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently in a home care environment
• Previous private duty, home health, or pediatric nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to meet all Maxim Healthcare onboarding and compliance requirements
