Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves managing critically ill patients, utilizing advanced skills and certifications to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor advanced respiratory and cardiovascular support, including vents, ICP, telemetry, PA lines, and balloon pumps.
• Perform IV starts, manage Swan-Ganz catheters, and respond to acuity changes with critical interventions.
• Document patient status and treatments accurately using Cerner/Soarian EMR systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including minimal RTO and float shifts to IMCU or CPU.
• Ensure all required certifications such as BLS and ACLS are current and maintained.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience.
• Be proficient in ventilator management, invasive lines, balloon pumps, and telemetry.
• Demonstrate ability to work night shifts (4x12 hours) and participate in a 13-week assignment with potential extension.
• Travel experience preferred; candidates must submit all verification documents, including skills checklist, NURSYS update, and driver’s license.
• Reliable and able to work with minimal RTO, including holiday coverage.
