Selected Opening: Senior Electrical Engineer We are looking for a senior electrical engineer who is motivated, dynamic, and willing to work diligently in a fast-paced team environment. Qualifications: California registered Professional Engineer. BS or MS degree in electrical engineering. At least eight years of experience - water-related project experience is a plus. Must have working knowledge and experience with small and medium power distribution systems, lighting, switchgears, motor control centers, control circuits, and instrumentation. Experience with PLC-based controls is a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Good English verbal and writing skills are required. Duties: Perform engineering design and calculations for electrical loads, power distribution systems, and circuits. Prepare and oversee details and drawings. Prepare technical specifications, reports, letters, and cost estimates. Communicate with vendors, clients, inspectors, utility agencies, and contractors. Perform research, studies, and site investigations. Support senior team members. Types of projects include pump stations, meter stations, flow control facilities, small hydropower generating units, diesel power generators, storage reservoirs, buildings, and similar infrastructure.
