PCU Registered Nurses - Take Charge of Your Schedule!

Shifts Available: 7 AM - 7 PM & 7 PM - 7 AM

PCU RN Qualifications

Active RN License in Virginia
At least 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the last 4 years
Current AHA BLS certification
Current AHA ACLS certification
QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed within the past 12 months
COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption
Additional credentials may be necessary depending on facility requirements

Your Responsibilities

As a PCU RN with our organization, you will deliver exceptional patient care in acute-care hospital settings. Your duties may include:

Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
Tracking cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
Administering medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments
Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
Adhering to facility infection-control and patient-safety protocols
Educating patients and families about care and discharge plans
Adapting professionally to various hospital units and environments
