The Mobile Mechanic is a skilled professional specializing in the diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of commercial vehicles and heavy-duty equipment such as trucks, skid steers, chippers, and bucket trucks. Working independently, this role requires traveling daily to various job sites and performing on-site repairs during on-call shifts from Thursday through Sunday. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong problem-solving skills to ensure efficient and reliable vehicle operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical issues
• Conduct engine and brake repairs on commercial and heavy-duty vehicles
• Execute preventative maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance
• Provide on-site repairs including hydraulic systems
• Manage daily travel to customer locations for service delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive repair
• Technical certification in automotive repair
• Valid driver's license
• Expertise in engine diagnostics
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
• High mechanical aptitude
