Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an intern for the Program Management team to support our dynamic organization. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in program management within a leading technology company in the national security and space sector.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinate with multiple levels of staff (PMs and Engineers) to finalize project plan presentations

• Coordinate with multiple levels of staff (PMs and Engineers) to establish timelines, deadlines, coordinate, and schedule meetings

• Organize, track, and maintain project and program documentation

• Participate in project/program meetings as requested

• Assist in the preparation of materials to support program meetings

• Assist with processing staff expense reports and adjudicate issues

• Assist with special projects and tasks from functional areas that support the IPPT Business Area

Qualifications:

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in related field

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience working with Microsoft, Word, Excel, Access, Visio and Power Point

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, involving complex and varying problems

• Willingness to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment

• The successful candidate must possess effective time management skills

• The successful candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

• The successful candidate must possess a high-level of confidence and be a self-starter

• Ability to take on more responsibility over a period of time

• Ability to learn new tools and processes as related to technology and software

• Experience with Earned Value Management.

• Experience with Government FARs.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $18.50/hr - $36.50/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
