About the Role:

As a Hotel Breakfast Attendant at Home2 Suites Dupont, WA, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive first impression for our guests by ensuring a clean, well-stocked, and inviting breakfast area. Your primary focus will be to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining the quality and presentation of the breakfast offerings. You will be responsible for setting up, replenishing, and monitoring the breakfast buffet to meet health and safety standards. This role requires attentiveness to guest needs, quick problem-solving, and effective communication with both guests and team members. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing the overall guest experience and satisfaction during their stay.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to start work at 5am
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying supplies.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Availability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Certification

• Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with hotel breakfast service standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area before service begins, ensuring all food items and supplies are adequately stocked and presented attractively.
• Monitor the breakfast buffet throughout the service period, replenishing food and beverages as needed to maintain freshness and availability.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or special requests promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any issues related to breakfast service.

The required skills such as customer service and basic food safety knowledge are essential for daily interactions with guests and maintaining a hygienic breakfast environment. Physical stamina and attention to detail ensure that the breakfast area remains clean, well-stocked, and inviting throughout service hours.
