Front Desk Clerk

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Clerk to join our team at our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, ensuring that guests receive a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Checking guests in and out of the hotel.
• Managing and receiving reservations made online or by phone.
• Verifying guest payment methods during check in.
• Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any special offers or promotions.
• Providing guests with information about the hotel and local attractions.
• Serving as a host at conferences and events held at the hotel.
• Maintaining positive guest relations at all times.
• Communicating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other staff to ensure guests' needs are met.
• Communicating with staff on the previous shift to manage guest arrivals and reservations.
• Doing laundry when necessary.

Requirements:

• High School qualification or equivalent.
• Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous.
