Job Description
ICU Registered Nurse

Schedule

12-hour shifts (days or nights); weekends required (at least every other weekend).

Assignment Details

Minimum of 1 year ICU experience required.

Requirements

• Active compact state license.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CCRN certifications required.
• Core ICU skills in ventilator management, vasoactive infusions, dysrhythmia interpretation, central/PICC/arterial line care, CRRT, VV ECMO, EVD management, and massive transfusion protocols.
• Experience with critically ill adult patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in an intensive care setting.
• Monitor and manage ventilator settings and patient responses.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive medications as per protocols.
• Perform nursing assessments and document care in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in multisystem support and rapid response activities as needed.

Compliance / Notes

Must request all time-off and scheduling requests at submission; must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays if required.
