People Analytics Analyst – Workday People Data Foundations & Insights As a People Analytics Analyst on Workday’s People Data Foundations & Insights team, you will work closely with various People & Purpose Centers of Excellence to build analytical insights that help business leaders scale and grow Workday. Your role will influence stakeholders, use data to impact key strategic decisions, and rapidly build scalable solutions to drive insights throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Automate ongoing analytical work using core Workday and external tools to increase capacity for advising and project work. Create standard, repeatable processes in Workday and analytics tools to automate data insight reporting. Ensure data quality by documenting field and filter usage and following standard guidelines. Establish quality assurance of delivered insights and design testing techniques for accurate, scalable results. Analyze complex business problems using internal and external data, and communicate insights to decision‑makers. Consult with stakeholders to identify desired outcomes, advise on optimal methods, and develop analytical specifications. Identify patterns and insights from people data to optimize decision–making. Develop analytics, tools, and insights in Workday that drive improved decision‑making around People, Culture, and Leadership. Implement research findings in Workday technology (Prism, dashboards, Extend, etc.) and apply agentic capabilities to enhance insight delivery. Master’s degree in Computational Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or related fields. 2+ years experience in Data Science, Talent Analytics, Survey Design and Analysis, People Analytics, or related fields. Workday experience in Report Writer, Prism Analytics, dashboards, domain security. Prior use of BI and analytics tools (data visualization, manipulation, integration, ETL, data storage). Knowledge of scripting and query languages (Python, R, SQL) – a bonus. Compensation Base salary range (Primary location – USA.CA.Pleasanton): $126,600 – $189,800 USD. Additional US locations: $106,900 – $189,800 USD. Eligible for Workday Bonus Plan and stock grants.
