About this role: This position does not require on-call availability. Therapists in this position utilize assessment tools to complete diagnostic evaluation of clients and communicate this information to the interdisciplinary treatment team. This includes clinical diagnosis, as well as screening for serious mental illness, substance use disorders, history of trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments, using established evidenced based assessment instruments. Information gathered from clinical assessments will be shared with other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team, for the purpose of developing an individualized, strength-based plan for care. Work collaboratively with client, other treatment providers, and family members or natural supports (when appropriate) to develop a clear plan for treatment. Treatment plans are created using a collaborative client driven process and will include measurable outcomes, treatment goals, documented progress, necessary interventions and after-care plans (when appropriate). The intake therapist may carry a small caseload in addition to completing intake and update assessments. Women's Justice Programs provide gender-responsive, trauma-informed therapeutically effective evidence best practices to women at-risk or involved in the criminal legal system, with service emphasis on mental health, co-occurring, recovery from substance use, trauma, health and wellness, parenting and family reunification. Maintains and cultivates relationships with interdisciplinary team and external agencies. This role also assists in completing intake and update assessments across our division, which includes Specialty Court, individuals who are incarcerated, and individuals seeking or discharging from inpatient substance use treatment.

Requirements

A master's degree in social work, Counseling Psychology or its equivalent from an accredited school. Knowledge and experience in individual, group and family therapy. Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning. Must demonstrate a clinical family systems orientation and ability to work with diverse populations with multiplicity of problems. All Therapists eligible for licensing by the State of Oklahoma be licensed annually and seek appropriate supervision to meet standards to be eligible for licensure. Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office. Must be ASI/ASAM certified or willing to become ASI/ASAM certified.

Added Care Coordination and physical health screening for mental health clients Greater access to Social Services for clients' economic and social needs Increased specialized services for veterans, those most in need, and those impacted by the opioid crisis.

Qualifications

Education Preferred: Masters or better in Counseling Psychology or related field. Masters or better in Social Work or related field.
