Global Employee Experience & Engagement Practice Leader

For our client, we are seeking a Global Employee Experience & Engagement Practice Leader to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will partner with sales leadership, HR centers of excellence, and cross-functional stakeholders to align talent priorities with commercial execution. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a regulated financial services environment. Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $216,000 – $324,000 annually Responsibilities Set the global strategy and direction for the Employee Experience & Engagement practice Drive commercial impact by equipping regional teams with advanced offers and sales materials Engage directly with strategic global client relationships to address complex workforce issues Lead the evolution of solutions that integrate listening and intelligence into actionable insights Build capabilities within the practice to elevate the expertise of consultants and analysts Manage key global partnerships and oversee flagship initiatives across regions Enhance Mercer's voice and brand as a thought leader in the field Qualifications 15+ years of experience in employee experience, engagement, talent, or related fields Established credibility with C-suite, particularly with CHROs in advisory and transformation roles Ability to lead through influence in a global, matrixed organization Personal reputation for high-quality thinking and deliverables in client engagements Deep understanding of how AI impacts workforce intelligence and consulting practices Experience in building and enhancing global communities of practice Strong communication skills for public speaking and thought leadership presence Benefits Health and welfare benefits Tuition assistance for continued education 401K savings and retirement programs Employee assistance programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
