Maintenance Tech

Our client, a leading organization in property management and maintenance, is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting daily operations and property upkeep. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Tech

Location: Newport News, VA

Pay Range: $19.00

Shift: Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break

What's the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across various property areas
• Paint and prepare surfaces for maintenance or renovation projects
• Handle plumbing and electrical work to ensure safety and functionality
• Assist with landscaping, cleaning, and general property upkeep
• Manage trash pickup and removal efficiently and responsibly

What's Needed?

• Experience in maintenance or related fields
• Knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical work, and landscaping
• Ability to perform general construction and cleaning tasks
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
