Interior Designer

Overview This challenging, fast-paced position requires a personable candidate with experience designing interiors of educational or civic facilities, focusing on K‑12 educational projects. The role involves collaboration with project designers, production architects, and engineering teams. Responsibilities Provide leadership in all project phases from initial development to completion, assisting in the design and documentation of interior spaces. Create design concepts and continue development through all design phases. Responsible for interior finish materials selections, specification, and production of finish material boards. Utilize space planning, knowledge of codes, and understanding of mechanical systems. Produce construction documentation, construction administration, and review of submittals. Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience. Bachelor of Interior Design or Interior Architecture (CIDA preferred). Demonstrated knowledge of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) process. Excellent communication skills and ability to present design concepts to clients. Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign, Bluebeam Revu, Office 365. How You'll Stand Out NCIDQ interior designer. Educational experience strongly preferred. Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines diplomatically.
