American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring combined adult and pediatric ED experience, with night shift availability and a 13-week contract. Requirements Active VA or Compact RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required; TNCC preferred Minimum 2 years of ED experience required Experience with both adult and pediatric emergency patients required Experience managing drips including vasopressors, insulin, and sedation required Flexibility to work both 3p–3a and 7p–7a shifts required Responsibilities Combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department — no separate pediatric area, with pediatric patients seen across all zones Common patient presentations include STEMI, stroke, sprains, sutures, and high-acuity cases across all age groups Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 4:1, with occasional stretch to 5:1 during peak census Drip experience required, including routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation Primary shift is 7p–7a (12 hours), with flexibility required to also cover 3p–3a shifts 36 hours per week Weekend requirement: 6 shifts over 6 weeks 13-week contract Navy blue scrubs required No on-call or holiday requirements for this position Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-722417 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
