Shipping/Receiving SpecialistWe are seeking a dedicated Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team and ensure the efficient transport of seed bags to the shipping area. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, utilizing paper pick sheets, and operating a forklift. The position offers a full-time schedule from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional partial days on Saturdays. This role is seasonal but has the potential for permanent placement based on performance.ResponsibilitiesTransport bags of seed to the shipping area.Load and unload trucks efficiently.Utilize paper pick sheets for order management.Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling.Ensure accurate inventory control and order picking.Handle bills of lading and manage shipping and receiving documentation.Essential SkillsProficiency in warehouse operations and shipping/receiving processes.Forklift operation experience of at least 1 year.Experience in order picking and shipping, minimum 1 year.Ability to lift 30-50 lbs repetitively, with a capacity to lift up to 60 lbs.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications6 months of previous physical labor work experience.Experience with RF scanners and data entry.Familiarity with inventory control and material handling.Why Work Here?Join a team that values efficiency, cleanliness, and organization within a dynamic warehouse environment.
