As a mobile wound care physician and independent contractor, you will provide critical, hands-on care to a vulnerable geriatric population in nursing facilities. You make the clinical decisions. Overview We are a national wound care physician group seeking autonomous, compassionate physicians who want to practice medicine with limited overhead and greater clinical control. This role is mobile and operates as an independent contractor, focusing on direct patient care in nursing facilities. Responsibilities Provide hands-on wound care to a geriatric population in nursing facilities. Make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes with autonomy. Operate as an independent contractor with minimal administrative overhead. Collaborate with facility staff and care teams to deliver high-quality wound care. Follow established protocols and documentation standards supported by the company’s software system. Why Transition to Skilled Wound Care? Full-time physicians earn an average starting pay of $220,000 - $250,000 annually , with potential to earn up to $300,000+ through additional services, performance-based bonuses, and no earning cap. Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license. Active and unrestricted DEA license. Note: You do not need to have completed a full residency program and do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.
