Director, Drug Development AI Nexus Decision Integration Lead

This newly created leadership role bridges drug development, artificial intelligence, and organizational transformation at Bristol Myers Squibb. The Director will integrate AI Nexus capabilities into development workflows, redesign key decision processes, and drive adoption across the organization to accelerate drug development quality and speed.

Responsibilities

• Translate development priorities into AI-enabled workflows and platform roadmap requirements for the AI Nexus team
• Map and redesign key decision points across drug development to leverage AI-enabled evidence and analysis
• Drive AI Nexus adoption through demonstrated value and culture-driven change management across Global Program Teams
• Build networks of champions and stakeholders to shape and actively use AI-integrated workflows
• Track adoption metrics and return on investment, reporting impact on decision quality, speed, and portfolio outcomes

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in drug development operations or clinical program management
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical development decisions, phase transitions, and regulatory milestones
• Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable AI-enabled solutions
• Experience partnering effectively across business, data, and technology teams
• Demonstrated change management and cross-functional influence without direct authority
• Strategic thinking with comfort discussing both scientific and technical domains

Compensation: Princeton/Madison NJ: $224,610–$272,178; Brisbane/Cambridge MA: $251,570–$304,839
