Full-Time In-House Videographer

WRA Architects is a Texas and Oklahoma based Architectural Design firm with deep expertise on PreK-12 and Higher Education Facilities, as well as municipal facilities. Our goal is to be the leader in building communities where people flourish. We provide opportunities for Architects and Interior Designers to develop under the guidance of our knowledgeable and experienced staff.

WRA has an immediate opening for a full-time in-house Videographer to shoot construction projects and events around Dallas, TX and surrounding rural areas. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field and three years of work in journalistic-style video production and post-production; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• The Videographer will support the marketing team by leading video projects for our YouTube channel and capturing still photography for use in marketing materials throughout the year.
• Take ownership for pre-production, shooting, editing and assisting in production and post-production, editing from scratch, relying on creative instincts and industry best-practices
• Use software programs to produce videos with high-level sound quality, and color correction, animations, etc.
• Operate various production equipment including cameras, lighting, audio and video recorders, microphones and props and maintains calibration of cameras, audio and video records and other production equipment.
• Producing and editing motion graphics and associated assets
• Edit and produce videos and format files for various platforms
• Follow approval process protocols, collaborate with marketing personnel and stakeholders, incorporate feedback from internal management and external clients, and deliver accurate revisions within expedited timelines.
• Take photos and videos at events for print and digital storytelling
• Attend events to capture video and photos of groundbreakings, topping out ceremonies, ribbon cuttings, aerial videography, and more and turn content around within 24 hours or less for Content & Communications Manager to post to social media
• Multimedia storytelling planning and development
• Assist with corporate social media strategy, planning, and concept development, staying up-to-date and knowledgeable on social media trends and best practices

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Technical and creative knowledge in camera operation
• Technical knowledge in photo editing and creative knowledge in lighting techniques or audio capture and creative knowledge in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Twinmotion, etc.)
• Help maintain digital media asset library and adhere to company guidelines for asset management storage
• Ability to upload videos to WRA YouTube, Vimeo, and website
• Ability to shoot on location with minimal supervision
• Reliably commute to and from project locations (Required)

• Photoshop

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Video Production, Digital Media, or a related field
• Minimum three years of high-level video production experience including advanced knowledge of visual effects, audio engineering, and film directing
• FAA Part 107 License is required
• Demonstrated specialized knowledge in producing and editing video, camera operation, studio lighting techniques, audio capture/editing, maintaining media databases and archives, media distribution, and other digital media applications
• Demonstrated mastery skill in media authoring software, such as the Adobe Creative Suite or Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Twinmotion and related tools
• Travel to location sites around the DFW metroplex and beyond is a must. Must have own transportation and a valid TX driver's license
• Collaborate with architecture teams to develop design animation videos and other visual storytelling assets that bring projects to life
• Assist the Client Services team in producing marketing videos for clients in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively and work closely with WRA's construction partners, vendors, clients, and industry professionals to support project needs and creative goals
• Must submit portfolio with application

The salary this website provides for this position may or may not be aligned with the salary that WRA Architects pays for this position. The salary WRA will offer will commensurate with experience.
