Cardiac and Vascular Radiologic Technologist
The Cardiac and Vascular Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing, assisting, and completing a variety of radiographic examinations. This role involves the execution of active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using advanced and sophisticated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images of specified body regions as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients to ensure optimal imaging results during examinations.
- Conduct specialized studies in the cardiovascular lab, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and examination outcomes.
- Maintain equipment and assist with troubleshooting to ensure reliable functionality.
Qualifications
- Relevant certification and licensure in radiology.
- Experience with cardiac and vascular imaging procedures preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Position involves varied shifts, typically comprising 8-hour workdays with a total of 40 hours per week.
