Job Summary:
Surgical Technician (OR, Operating Room Technician) in Portland, Maine. This role involves supporting a Level One trauma center with a 40-bed operating room focused on multiple specialties. The candidate must possess at least two years of Level One trauma experience and demonstrate expertise in general surgery, pediatrics, DaVinci robotics, burns, and HIPEC procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

• Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Days
• Schedule: 10 hours shifts, 40 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: CST certification, at least 2 years of Level One trauma experience, experience with general surgery, pediatric surgery, DaVinci robots, burns, and HIPEC, current license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in GU/GYN, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, dental, and endovascular procedures. Ability to be flexible, accountable, timely, and a team player.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role requires working one overnight call, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM for trauma cases. Call will be scheduled per specialty team rules when applicable. Teal scrubs are issued from the hospital.
